Please note, the Diversity and Belonging section of the England Netball Knowledge Centre is currently being updated. We appreciate your understanding whilst the page is developed, whilst work is ongoing, some links/ pages may not work as expected.

At England Netball our purpose is clear, to lead a movement on and beyond the court. To uphold an unapologetic focus on women and girls whilst opening the game for new audiences to belong, flourish and soar.

Guided by our moral compass we are committed to being both Proudly Female and Dedicated to Difference. This allows us to take a truly ‘intersectional’* approach to Diversity and Belonging, considering the unique experiences of women and girls from a diverse range of groups.

The Diversity and Belonging Knowledge Centre is here to support you in your activities, regardless of how you engage with netball.

If you have any questions or feedback, please click on the ‘Questions and Feedback' tile below.

* Intersectionality is a framework for understanding how an individual's various social and political identities—such as race, gender, class, sexuality, disability, and age—overlap and interact. Rather than treating these characteristics in isolation, intersectionality recognises that they create unique and interdependent systems of discrimination, disadvantage, or privilege.
